Popeye sure loved his spinach, but not everyone enjoys spinach as much as he did. With today being Fresh Spinach Day, we encourage of readers to give spinach another chance though. To help you do so, we think it’s only fitting to share some healthy spinach recipes that we love with our readers. Without further ado, here are some of our favorites:

Spinach and Strawberry Salad

As you might guess, spinach and strawberries are the main ingredients in this recipe. With the amount of hidden calories you often find in dressings, you should make your own to keep this recipe healthy. Find out the ingredients for a delicious, but healthy dressing here.

Chinese Salad

Like the Spinach and Strawberry salad, the Chinese salad also uses a poppy seed salad. This salad also has mandarin oranges, bacon (yum), and mozzarella cheese. The Chinese salad also mixes in romaine lettuce, which will help newbie spinach triers. The recipe comes from the Six Sisters Stuff.

Spinach and Feta Quinoa Salad

The last salad on the list is by far my favorite since it combines three of my favorite foods! I love quinoa because it is so filling and doesn’t leave you hungry 30 minutes later like rice or something similar does. The spinach and feta quinoa salad is packed with flavor so if lack of flavor is what is holding you back from eating spinach then this recipe is for you.

Spicy Asiago & Spinach Baked Eggs

Breakfast lovers rejoice! I personally think breakfast food is better for lunch or dinner so I might be making this one tonight! In addition to eggs, spinach, and asiago cheese, the recipe also has thyme, red pepper, ginger, and garlic. Check out this delicious recipe here.

Detox Smoothie

Need a breakfast on the go? This detox smoothie is your answer. The recipe calls for pineapple juice to give the smoothie a sweeter flavor, lemon, and ginger along with the spinach. Give this recipe a peak for a quick and healthy drink.
